The position requires an inquisitive person who can find solutions to complex software engineering problems with an open mind and the ability to learn quickly.

Service Team engineers play a direct role in the direction of our company and are able to work across multiple teams to implement fresh ideas that allow our products to grow. The team is working on discovering information hidden in vast amounts of data to make intelligent business decisions and to deliver better products.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests;
• Collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and build new solutions to meet business needs;
• Work on improving and maintaining the existing core services;
• Work closely with data engineers and multiple engineering teams;
• Assist with monitoring of systems to proactively identify performance issues;
• Document designs and implementations properly.

Skills to create thrills:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science;
• At least 5 years of full-time experience as a Python Developer;
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal English), interpersonal, and organizational skills;
• Experience with Django REST, Flask, FastAPI, or similar web frameworks;
• Experience with developing complex systems and integrating various applications;
• Production experience with large-scale distributed systems, including performance tuning;
• Experience managing Linux-based systems;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Self-motivated, independent, eager to learn, and an amazing ability to get stuff done.

 

 

Bonus credits:

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker;
Ability to Capable of handling stressful situations during production performance issues.
