When was the last time you heard of TNC? Err… Exactly! We’ve been keeping a low profile ever since the outbreak of Covid-19. Now that the overall situation is picking up with more and more people getting vaccinated, it is time we get back on the grid, and here is how we make an entrance!
Annual Party
To celebrate the reopening of our staff kitchen after a 2-month renovation, our chefs sure know how to create a feast, not only to our stomachs but also to your eyes. We guess no man could resist the greatest desire after all.
Gift-exchanging is always a classic at our party. We got carried away picking out the best gifts for our colleagues, not knowing from whom we’ll get one for ourselves. Let’s take a look at a few faces on the spot, some are thrilled to receive their dream gifts while someone is literally speechless at a pack of tomato juice… Dude, seriously?
Every dog has its day, and every man his hour. Those who got pranked at the gift-exchanging may have better luck winning the TNC Lotteries, or not! Hahaha, at least everyone who didn’t win gets a courtesy shopping card! Yay?
OOODay
teamLab Shanghai
Earlier in April, as it’s our first team activity outside the office, we decided to try something beautiful and memorable, a visit to an infinite art museum with no map.
teamLab Borderless is a group of artworks that form one borderless world. Artworks move out of rooms, communicate with other works, influence, and sometimes intermingle with each other with no boundaries.
Now together with TNC, let’s immerse our body in this borderless art, wander, explore with intention, discover, and create a new world where waters fall from the abyss, beams interact with gestures and the galaxy becomes touchable…
When we were sitting on the mirror floor and watching above, this just reminded us of the Kongming Lanterns being released into the sky, only more colorful…
Looking into this vortex of time tunnel and wondering what is there at the end. The eagerness to unveil the unknown is accelerated by the simple creation of black and white.
“Artworks move out of the rooms freely, form connections and relationships with people, communicate with other works, influence and sometimes intermingle with each other, and have the same concept of time as the human body.” That just explains the idea of the borderless world created by teamLab.
An Inhouse Activity
Peanut Butter & Jelly Bread
What was your thought on the name of the activity? A western breakfast tutorial? Come on, you should have known by now that we’re not that boring!
And these are the energy supplies we need to get through with the activity. Yes, sipping some beer at working hours is just our style.
Here, a bag of toast, a bottle of jam, a bottle of peanut butter, and a table knife. With them, you can easily make yourself a tasty sandwich. But the challenge is, are you good enough to write down how you make it in as clear details as possible?
When you’re done with your answer sheet, our host will follow your exact instructions with his own interpretation. And let us tell you this much, we can’t wait to see your shocking face with its gaping mouth!
